Sebago 

Sebago are a popular all purpose potato and have a regular, thick, oval shape, with bright creamy white skin and white flesh. It is excellent boiled and mashed, but is also good boiled for salads, dry baked or roasted, and in a pinch you can even fry it. Bred in the USA, Sebago has been grown in Australia since the 1940s.

Pontiac

Pontiac, with its red skin and even, round shape is familiar to most Australians. Excellent for mashed potatoes and good boiled for salads. The Pontiac can also be dry baked or roasted, but do not fry. Bred in the USA, grown in Australia since 1975.

Desiree

A pretty potato, the long, oval desiree has smooth, pinkish red skin and pale yellow flesh. Its firm texture makes it a good choice for salads and roasting. The desiree is okay for mashing but do not overcook. Do not fry. Bred in the Netherlands, grown in Australia since the late 1980s.

Bison

An attractive, bright red, round potato with white flesh, the bison is good for boiling (salads or mash). Also good for roasting. Do not fry. Bred in the USA, the bison has been grown in Australia since 1985.
